Stedelijk Museum launches Mood App

On the upcoming Museum Night in Amsterdam on November 1st, the Stedelijk Museum will launch the so called "Mood App". The idea of this mobile app is that you choose a state of mind - broke, scared, sad, in love, mysterious, cheerful - after which you will presented with a route along several works of art from the collection. With the app museum visitors can also compose their own tour, narrate and share it with others. The tours are designed and voiced by young people with a job at the museum, called the Blikopeners. During the Museum Night the Blikopeners will give extra mood-tours based on the moods of jealousy, anger and shame to match the theme of Bad Thoughts.
