Germany bans ISIS rallies, symbols

Germany has banned the terrorist organization Islamic State (ISIS). Activities that have to do with the organization are now punishable. Among other things the waving of the black ISIS flag, wearing ISIS symbols at demonstrations and conducting propaganda on social media, are no longer allowed. Symbols of ISIS will also be deleted from the internet. Minister De Maizier of Internal Affairs calls ISIS a threat for public safety in Germany, NOS.nl reports. It is not clear whether ISIS is active in Germany in a structured manner. The German intelligence services estimate that several hundred Germans are fighting for ISIS.
