"Best bar in the world" could reopen today after stabbing

De Witte Aap café in Rotterdam will hopefully reopen today after it was closed earlier this week because of a stabbing. The decision will be made today during a meeting where owner Marco Buitendijk may react to the findings of the police. The impression is that De Witte Aap is blameless as they have a certified bouncer and an internal video circuit. Since De Witte Aap's opening in 1995, the cafe has had no previous cases of serious violence.
