Paypal testing pay-later idea in Netherlands

E-commerce giant PayPal will begin testing a new system that allows consumers to pay for a product after they have received it. The Netherlands will be the second European country where the service has already been rolled out after Spain. In the trial phase, the service will only be available to a limited number of active users. PayPal Benelux executive said this will limit the service to users PayPal has identified as trustworthy based on their payment history. At a later stage, the service will become available for less active users. “For this, we create a risk profile of the users”, van Wijk explained to Tweakers.net. The announcement comes months after PayPal introduced "Check-In" to the Netherlands in July, which allows users of the PayPal app to check in at businesses, place orders and make payments.
