Rapper's anti Jewish, anti gay lyrics cause stir
Rapper from Breda is catching all sorts of attention for his controversial new song "Eenmans", in which he raps about hating Jews and not shaking hands with gay people.
Listeners complains that the single and its associated videoclip that Ismo released this week are jampacked with antisemitic and racist lyrics. He raps about his love for Islam, but tears deep into Jews and gays. Only God can "break" him and money is something he wants to show off to his enemies.
While the song has attracted criticism, Ismo is landing praise and support for his artistic career. The neighborhood council of De Heuvel in Breda has congratulated him with his first video clip.
He said his music is not racist and his fans know that. He invoked freedom of speech and claimed his lyrics are being taken out of contest. "I don't hate all Jews; I hate the zionistic Jews who made Palestina about as small as my neighborhood. It's all about interpretation. When I say "flikkers" (faggots) I don't mean homosexuals; when I say Jews I don't mean all of them. My fans know that."
His goal is to conquer the Netherlands and then the world.
