Pechtold congratulates his D66

D66-leader Alexander Pechtold happily congratulated his party on the win in Utrecht. "Today it was proven that D66 is a party that takes chances", he said. The D66 has won big, raking in many seats. Pechtold said the outcome, which at the moment pegs the D66 as the biggest party in several big cities, is a reward for all the hard work of the last years. "The last four years, we have shown in many municipalities that D66 can govern well and takes responsibility." He did not want to jump the gun and believe the party will be the biggest in Amsterdam, where the PvdA has had most seats for decades. "I first want to see it. Honestly, I didn't dare to dream this this morning."
