During Tuesday night's "Opsporing Verzocht" police highlighted several cases, among which a home robbery, distraction burglaries, the death of an elderly due to a burglary, and an assassination. On September 20, an 82-year-old woman was robbed in her home on the Schietbaanlaan in Rotterdam.
The Public Prosecution offers 3,000 euros for the valuable tip, leading to the perpetrators. Opsporing Verzocht will show a reconstruction. Two young women are robbing older women by distracting them. In Rotterdam they convinced an 80-year-old, who had just taken money out of an ATM, that they knew her through their grandmother, years ago, and stole her bank card. In Woerden they looked on as a 74-year-old woman used her pin. Shortly after they stole her wallet. In The Hague they also used a bank card of another elderly woman. A 72-year-old woman died from injuries she sustained during a burglary. When she came home around 18:45, she opened her front door to enter her home on the Mirteweg in Zwolle, but was violently pushed aside by an unknown young man making his way out. She was critically injured and died the next day. The show also highlighted the shooting incident on the Teilingerstraat in Rotterdam, an assassination on the Den Helderstraat in Amsterdam, a burglary and attempted burglary at a Chinese snack bar in Almelo and its owner, an arson at a restaurant in Boxtel, an armed robbery on a snack bar in Emmen, an attempted armed robbery on a GWK office in Amersfoort, and an armed robbery on a Stadtsparkasse in Suderwick and on a gas station in Enschede.
