Salaries paid late for 25% of employees in NL

A new survey by the National Job shows that more than a quarter of all workers in the Netherlands do not receive salary on time, Spitsnieuws reports. Money / Flickr According to the survey, 12% of respondents say they always receive wages late. Getting pay late makes many workers angry. It is still not clear why employers pay salaries late. Last week, Rabobank announced that will cut an additional 1,000 to 2,000 jobs as part of their program “Vision 2016.” The total number of banks will be reduced to 100, baring in mind that the sum of all expenses has to be 220 million euros less in 2016. Swedish food packaging and processing company Tetra Pak is planning to close its plant in Moerdijk at the end of the year. The plant closure will result in loss of nearly 215 jobs, Nos reported.
