Sale of Dutch firm AVH Dairy Trade

Emmi has acquired a 70% stake in Dutch company AVH Dairy Trade BV, which exports traditional and organic goat and sheep dairy products. Dairy Products / Flickr The acquisition will enable Emmi to strengthen its position in the international goat's and sheep's milk product market, the company said in a statement. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Located in Bergen, the Netherlands, AVH Dairy Trade is a leading international trader of goat's and sheep's milk products, in particular cheese, milk power and protein concentrates. The company markets its products mainly in the EU, the US and Asia.
