Wikipedia.org The company’s decision to sell Dutch subsidiary is due to overcapacity and the growing import of subsidized German wind power, the FD said. Dong Energy has about 150,000 business and residential customers in the Netherlands. The company has appointed investment bank Kempen to oversee the sale. Currently, the company is in talks with a small number of potential buyers, the newspaper said citing undisclosed sources. In 2005, Dong Energy entered the Dutch market by acquiring approximately 40,000 customers from Intergas.
