DE Master Announces Job Cuts in Netherlands

Amsterdam-based coffee and tea company DE Master Blenders said it is slashing 110 jobs. The company is making most job cuts at its headquarters in Amsterdam, the Telegraaf reports. Coffee cup from Douwe Egberts / Wikipedia "Our company has to deal with difficult market conditions, increased competition and declining sales volumes, and in response, we need to adapt our organization," the company’s spokesman Norbert Cappetti told Dow Jones. The company will also scrap jobs in Utrecht and Joure.
