Fully loaded army truck stolen

An army truck, loaded with military cots, chairs, stoves and tents, was stolen from an army base in North Brabant. The truck was found Monday, looted, in Maarsbergen in a secluded spot along the Griftdijk.A passer-by thought the truck was parked awkward and alarmed the police.

The truck had been readied for an exercise. The police do not want to say which base the vehicle was stolen from. The cargo is worth thousands of euros.

The police and the military police work together on solving the crime. They are looking for possible witnesses who may have noticed something along the Griftdijk or have been offered army stuff for sale.
