National Team Must Win in Andorra

On Monday, National Team Coach Louis van Gaal and his fit team traveled to Andorra for Tuesday's World Cup qualifying match against Andorra. Orange will qualify for the World Cup final on Tuesday if it beats Andorra, but then Romania might not win against Turkey. However, a win against Andorra will almost certainly give the Dutch team a ticket to Brazil. Romania has to make up 6 points and a difference of 15 hits in the last two group matches. “But never say never,” said van Gaal. “We will take this match very seriously, even though Andorra is one of the worst teams in the world. Look at what happened last Friday when our team was the favorite but almost lost the match.” The Dutch team, with 19 players, practiced on Sunday in Barcelona behind closed doors. Arjen Robben and Bruno Martins Indi are not part of the selection on Tuesday since they have both been suspended. Robben will be missing in Andorra because he went ‘negotiating’ with a linesman during the match in Estonia, which earned him a yellow card. "That was not wise," said Van Gaal. "I also told that to Arjen. We don’t have so many wingers."
