Golden handshake hospital CEO

As it turns out, former chairman Paul Ansems of the Langeland Hospital in Zoetermeer, received a golden handshake after all. The amount totals almost 300,000 euros, reports the journal Medisch Contact.Ansems led the hospital on the brink of financial disaster. When it became clear in 2011, the board of supervisors decided to terminate his position . By then, Ansems had been a CEO for 6 months. Lange_Land_Ziekenhuis_zoetermeer

Upon publication of the final report, it turned out that the former chairman had received at least 287,000 euros. The publication of the final version of the report took a long time because of the financial problems of the Langeland Hospital. The medical staff and care organization Vierstroom took over the ailing hospital in July.
