Twenty Nazi criminals still on the loose

There are possibly still some twenty SS men alive who never were convicted for crimes, committed during World War II. The Simon Wiesenthal Center comes to this conclusion after a poster promotion in German cities. The poster calls upon the public to come forward with tips on surviving SS'ers who have not been punished for war crimes. The posters were displayed in several cities such as Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, and Keulen. Auschwitz_main_gate,

Flickr The Wiesenthal Center's actions set it on track of a Dutch SS'er. The Center announced Saturday that beside Siert Bruins, there may be one more SS'er alive. The suspected criminal is still under investigation. Based on Wiesenthal's information the suspect resides in The Netherlands. However, they will not yet disclose his address or the nature of his crimes. The center wants to prevent the man escaping prosecution. Releasing too many details would obviously warn the suspect, so they can't disclose any more information yet, reports Stefan Klemp, spokesperson for the Wiesenthal Center.
