Worlds Largest Crane By Huisman

Huisman Schiedam is going to build the largest crane in the world, for the new offshore wind farm installation vessel Scylla. Samsung Heavy Industries builds for the British Seajacks world's largest and most advanced offshore wind farm installation vessel. The order for Huisman to supply the crane for this ship is worth tens of millions of euro. Besides the main crane Huisman also provides two auxiliary cranes. It is the third crane that Huisman delivers to Seajacks, which is used in the installation of wind turbines and foundations of offshore wind farms. The Scylla is specially designed to meet the requirements for the construction of wind farms in the UK and Scottish waters and the other Northwest European market.
