Melbourne Heart coach John Aloisi said the center midfielder will offer an impressive play in the midfield. "I am confident that Orlando will be one of the most accomplished midfielders that has come to play football in Australia," Aloisi said in a statement on Friday. "You don't pull the strings in the midfield for the Dutch national team unless you have some special qualities," he added. Engelaar is known for his heading ability and height, standing 1.96 meters tall.
