Weekend Box Office Roundup: July 18-21, 2013

The weekend box office ended with Despicable Me 2 stolen from the no. 1 spot. Pacific Rim

Pacific Rim came on top of the list, making €396,960 on its first week. The new science fiction film directed by Guillermo del Toro has grossed €417,864 so far. Grown Ups 2 came third at €207,649, followed by World War Z at €204,891. The former no. 2 World War Z has earned €1,878,077 in 3 weeks. Now You See Me is fifth on the list with a weekend gross of €158,760. Dutch film Spijt!, which reached the 5th spot on the previous weekend box office, earned $2,811,064 in 5 weeks. It grossed $111,315 over the weekend. Another local movie called Kapringen (A Hijacking) made $69,015 to date and is showing on 14 screens.
