Cow Walks Over Highway

The N11 between Alphen aan den Rijn and Hazerswoude-Rijndijk has been closed for a short time on the night of Saturday to Sunday, to all traffic. The reason was that there was a cow loose on the road, reports Omroep West on Sunday. After the emergency services arrived, it took them quite a while catch the animal. When the cow was safely back in the meadow, the N11 was given free for all traffic again, except for walking cows.
