Video: Police chase ends in fiery crash into Belgian home

A car carrying five people crashed into a house just across the border in Belgium following a police chase in Limburg, and caught fire.

According to the Belgian newspaper Het Belang van Limburg, the occupants sustained minor injuries.

All five occupants are in their 20s and are from Belgium. Two were transported to hospital. A 21-year-old driver was fined for multiple traffic violations in the Netherlands.

Police reported that officers spotted the car on Tongersestraat in Maastricht around 3 a.m. They attempted to stop the vehicle due to erratic driving, but it sped off toward Belgium at high speed.

From a distance, police saw the car crash into a house in Veldwezelt, after which officers provided first aid.
