Man injured in Roosendaal home conflict; Roommate arrested
A man was hospitalized with multiple stab wounds early Sunday morning following a conflict at a residence on Philipslaan, police reported. A roommate of the victim was arrested on suspicion of involvement.
Emergency services responded shortly after midnight. A trauma helicopter was initially dispatched but later stood down. Officers found the injured man inside the home; he was conscious and able to communicate. He was taken by ambulance to a hospital.
A witness told police that another man ran from the scene. Officers later found him in a nearby garden and arrested him on suspicion of involvement. Investigators are continuing to determine his exact role in the incident.
