Adult, three teenagers arrested for shooting at taxi on A13 highway

Police have arrested four suspects in connection with a shooting on the A13 last month. They include a 24-year-old man and two boys aged 16 and 17 from Amsterdam, and a 17-year-old boy from Zandvoort. The four are suspected of attempted manslaughter.

The incident occurred during the evening hours of June 9 leading in to June 10 on the highway from Rotterdam to The Hague. It is possible that an argument preceded the event between the suspects and a taxi driver. They chased him on the A13 and eventually shot at him. The taxi driver was injured as a result.

Shortly after the incident, one of the two cars, which had Belgian license plates, was found crashed under suspicious circumstances about 15 minutes after the incident on Binckhorstlaan in The Hague. A security camera at a nearby gas station captured footage of two suspects shortly afterward. Police believe the pair had been in the abandoned vehicle.nThe exact details of the event are still under investigation.

Footage of the two suspects was shown Tuesday evening on the crime-solving TV program Opsporing Verzocht.
