Almost a quarter of Dutch people use generative AI like ChatGPT
Nearly a quarter of Dutch people use artificial intelligence programs to create texts, videos, or images. People aged 18 to 25 primarily use services like ChatGPT. These are mainly students of universities and colleges. Men use the programs slightly more often than women, Statistics Netherlands reported.
Research into technology usage showed that almost nine in 10 people have smart devices at home. Around eight in 10 had this four years ago. Many people have a smart TV and an intelligent water-gas- or electricity meter. Assistants like Siri, Home made by Google, and Alexa, created by Amazon, are less popular. Almost half of the respondents use these products.
Dutch people are also increasingly using smartwatches, wireless headphones, toothbrushes, and scales that are connected to the internet.
