Woman suspected of attempted manslaughter after argument with naked man
Police arrested a 42-year-old woman from Tilburg in the Spoorstraat in Breda over the weekend on suspicion of attempted manslaughter and vandalism. Officers discovered the woman and a naked man in the street, both covered in blood.
At 01:15 on Saturday morning, the police discovered a woman in the street during their surveillance. She was covered in blood and shouting at a naked, bloodstained man who was in a house in the Omegastraat. The investigation revealed that the man, a 64-year-old man from Breda, and the 42-year-old woman were acquaintances. The two got into an argument during the evening, according to the police.
However, the argument got out of hand that evening. Both the man and the woman were injured. The woman is also said to have smashed a window of the man's house and threatened an acquaintance of the 64-year-old victim in the street. The woman was then arrested on suspicion of attempted manslaughter, aggravated assault, threats, and vandalism.
Paramedics examined the man from Breda at the scene and subsequently treated him at the hospital. The woman from Tilburg was taken to a police station, taken into custody, and questioned.
