First TV interview with Prime Minister Dick Schoof on Saturday
Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof will give his first TV interview on Saturday. He will do so in the program Humberto à Paris on RTL 4. From Paris, Schoof will look back on the first 40 days of his premiership.
TV host Humberto Tan will ask Schoof about his plans for the country and his personal interests. For example, the two will discuss Schoof's passion for sport. According to Tan, the Prime Minister is particularly looking forward to the marathon in which Dutchman Sifan Hassan participates.
Alongside the Prime Minister, other guests will also be present during the talk show, including Olympic rowing champion Karolien Florijn and presenter Frank Evenblij, broadcastmagazine.nl reports.
The Olympic Games will continue until Sunday. The Prime Minister will receive the Dutch medal winners in a ceremony in the Glazen Zaal in the center of The Hague on Tuesday. Later, the athletes will go to King Willem-Alexander at Huis ten Bosch.
The talk show will be broadcast live on RTL 4 this Saturday, starting at 9:45 p.m.
