No trains to and from Amsterdam Central Station all day

Due to construction, no trains will run to, from, and via Amsterdam Central Station all day on Saturday. According to NS and ProRail, this has never happened before. Travelers are advised to consult the travel planner before departure and consider additional travel time. Some buses and metros run to CS.

The next phase of the large-scale station renovation will begin on Saturday, and no trains will be able to depart on any track. In addition, tracks 14 and 15 will not be accessible for a year due to construction work, and a large part of the eastern passenger tunnel on the IJ side of the station will be closed.

There will also be fewer trains for the rest of the weekend and on Monday. For instance, an NS stop bus will run between Amsterdam Muiderpoort and Weesp on Sunday, and trains between Amsterdam Centraal and Sloterdijk will run "very limited" on Sunday and Monday. Passengers must change trains or continue part of their journey by bus or metro.
