Concert organizer MOJO warns of severe heat during Bruce Springsteen concert in Nijmegen

The weather could be very hot again on Thursday, which may impact people planning to attend Bruce Springsteen’s concert in Nijmegen. Concert organizer Mojo said additional shaded areas will be set up, and visitors can bring their own water bottles.

More water taps will also be provided at the Goffertpark concert ground. The weather is expected to cool off before Springsteen’s second concert on Saturday.

"The sun's intensity is higher than usual in the coming days," said MOJO. "The combination of dehydration and overheating can lead to heat stroke. Report to security or medical staff if you are dizzy or feel very drowsy," the organizer added on Instagram.

Springsteen and the E Street Band's second show is also in the Goffertpark in Nijmegen. The extra show was arranged because the tickets for the first show sold out quickly.

The shows are part of the band's European tour, which started in Cardiff on May 5 and will end in London on July 25.
