Woman, 43, found killed at home in Goirle but "many unanswered questions"
A 43-year-old woman who was found dead in her home in Goirle, Noord-Brabant, on Friday was killed at the hands of another. Despite the completion of an autopsy of the woman's body, "there are still many unanswered questions," police said on Tuesday.
The woman's acquaintances contacted the police when they could no longer reach her. This led to the police finding the woman's body in her home on the Wildpleintje.
The police had already said that they were considering foul play, and the autopsy confirmed this. A major crimes investigation was underway.
The police team of around 15 people has called upon people to come forward if they know anything about the woman's lifestyle, such as information about her social contacts.
"People who live in the area and have seen anything in recent days that may relate to this case are asked to come forward," police said. "Every detail, no matter how small, can potentially help us."
