Hand grenade found at Rotterdam restaurant

A strange package police found in front of a restaurant on the Groene Hilledijk in Rotterdam on Monday morning turned out to be a grenade.

The Explosives Disposal Service (EOD) secured the area and is now looking into the matter.

On December 30, 2020, a shooting took place in the same street. Police are now investigating if there is a link between the two cases.
