Speeder tells cops he was rushing to the bathroom

An urgent need to pee resulted in a speeding fine for a man in Rotterdam on Tuesday. He was caught driving a top speed of 130 kilometers per hour in a 70 km/h zone, the Rotterdam police said on Facebook.

The police spotted the car on Abram van Rijckevorselweg speeding towards Krimpen. The man was pulled over. He acknowledged to the police that he was "gloriously in the wrong", but added that he had to "pee really badly" and that was why he was speeding.

After deducting the legal correction on a speed scan, the man was allowed to keep his driver's license. But he will face a fine. The Public Prosecutor will determine the amount.
