One more warm Netherlands weekend on the way
The Netherlands can look forward to at least one more warm weekend before the winter weather hits. This coming weekend will be sunny and mostly dry, with maximums up to 27 degrees expected on Saturday and Sunday, according to Weerplaza.
The warm weather is thanks to a high pressure area currently above the British Isles. From Thursday the high pressure area will start moving towards Eastern Europe, and a south wind will blow warm air from Spain into the Netherlands.
On Friday maximums will climb to around 20 degrees in any places inland in the Netherlands. On Saturday temperatures are expected to reach above 25 degrees in the south and east of the country. And Sunday will be even warmer, with maximums around 27 degrees expected in the warmest places, according to the weather service.
Friday and Saturday will be sunny and dry. On Sunday there will be more cloud cover, with a chance of some rain and maybe a thunderstorm or two.
