Missing girls found safe

Two girls who went missing, separately from each other, in the Netherlands on Sunday were both found safe on Monday.

A 16-year-old girl from Deelen was reported missing in the village of Borne at around 9:00 a.m. on Sunday morning. The Gelderland police announced that she was found safe at around 5:00 p.m. on Monday. To protect her privacy, no further information will be shared, the police said on Twitter.

A 12-year-old girl from Voorhout went missing early on Sunday afternoon. She was found at a friend's house at around 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Omroep West reports. According to the police, she was found safe and in good health.
