The Rotterdam police arrested a 54-year-old man on suspicion of involvement in a fire on Hilledijk, in which 27-year-old Robert Hendrix was killed on April 13th. The Rotterdam man is suspected of arson, the police said on Monday.

The fire was set on the first floor of the building on Hilledijk. Hendrix lived on the second floor. He tried to escape the sea of fire by climbing ou a window, but he fell. The man was critically injured by the fire and his fall. Emergency workers tried to save him, but it was to no avail.
