Dutch man, 23, dies in fall from Polish hotel

A 23-year-old man from the Limburg town of Born died in Krakow in Poland over the weekend. The local police believe he fell from the roof of a hotel, where he was staying with friends, the Telegraaf reports.

A spokesperson for the police told the newspaper that the man likely climbed onto the roof of hotel Al Fresco to take pictures. It is believed that he slipped and fell. It snowed in Krakow over the weekend, and the roof was icy and slippery.

Whether the man was under the influence of alcohol or drugs is currently being investigated.
