Around 80 people participated in Amsterdam's "no pants subway ride" on Sunday afternoon. The rode the subway on the Noord-Zuid line without wearing pants, AT5 reports.
This phenomenon blew over from New York. It is a counter to the annual "blue Monday", supposedly the most depressing day of the year. This year blue Monday falls on January 21st.
"Normally I never get out of my comfort zone. So I thought, let me do something crazy", one participant said to AT5.
Some non-participating passengers received quite a shock. "When I came into the subway, I suddenly saw two people without pants. That was awkward", one said to the city broadcaster.
