Key witness links wanted criminal to 12 assassinations: report

The Public Prosecutor's key witness Nabil B. made statements about at least 12 assassinations or attempts thereto, linking wanted criminal Ridouan Taghi's organization to most of these crimes, sources told the Telegraaf.

This is the first time ever that one key witness linked one person to so many crimes, according to the newspaper.

Nabil B. himself is suspected of involvement in an assassination in 2017, in which the wrong man was killed. He later decided to make a deal with the judiciary, out of remorse and fear of being murdered himself. The man is currently under heavy security, after his brother Reduan was murdered in Amsterdam in March. This happened shortly after the Prosecutor announced that N. turned witness.
