Obama to speak in Amsterdam; tickets start at €1,000

Former United States President Barack Obama will be speaking at a leadership seminar in AFAS Live, formerly the Heineken Music Hall, in Amsterdam on Friday. The cheapest tickets for the seminar cost nearly a thousand euros, AD reports.

Obama will give an hour long interview with management books writer Ben Tiggelaar. The former US president will explain his views on the themes of leadership and change, how you as a leader can encourage people to follow you, and how to deal with adversity.

The Forward Thinking Leadership seminar was organized by DenkProducties. Other speakers include leadership coach Marshall Goldsmith and negotiation expert Dan Shapiro. Dutch entrepreneurs Ali Niknam, known for online bank Bunq, and Alexander Klopping of digital newsstand Blendle are also on the schedule.
