Boy, 17, stabbed in neck on Eindhoven square

A 17-year-old boy was stabbed in the neck on 18 Septemberplein in the center of Eindhoven on Thursday afternoon. He was taken to hospital, seriously hurt. Part of the square was temporarily closed for police investigation, NU.nl reports.

The police are looking for the perpetrator. As the victim was not yet able to talk to the police, the circumstances that led up to the stabbing remain unclear.

18 Septemberplein is located in a shopping area near Eindhoven Central Station, so many people witnessed the stabbing on Thursday afternoon. The police call on witnesses to come forward.
