Police confiscate 50 kilos of chocolate

The police confiscated 50 kilograms of chocolate from a foreign car on the A2 highway near Geleen on Saturday. The three people in the car were arrested, the police said on Twitter.

The chocolate was packed into cooler-bags. The three people in the car could not give the police a believable explanation of where the chocolate came from or where they were going with it.

"If we get three different statements about the origin and the destination of the chocolate and no receipts can be shown, we find it worth investigating in consultation with a public prosecutor", the police said.
