Police cars crash in Amsterdam, two cops hurt

A police car and a police van collided with each other on Prins Hendrikkade in Amsterdam on Thursday night. A taxi was also hit in the accident. Two police officers sustained minor injuries, AT5 reports.

The accident happened around 10:30 p.m. A police bus was driving over Prins Hendrikkade with lights flashing and sirens blaring. It made a left turn to cross Prins Hendrikkade again, did not see a police car due to a passing tram, and hit the police car on the left flank, according to the broadcaster.

The two officers in the police car were hurt. They were treated at the scene.

The police vehicles were responding to a report. Both vehicles were towed away.
