Car deliberately bumps Amsterdam motorist multiple times on Dutch highway
A motorist deliberately bumped into another motorist at high speed multiple times on the A27 highway between Geertruidenberg and Werkendam on Saturday afternoon. No one was hurt. The police are looking for witnesses.
The incident happened around 2:00 p.m. A 28-year-old woman from Amsterdam and two passengers, aged 26 and 31 years old, were on their way to Utrecht on Saturday. On the A27 they overtook a car with Belgian license plates. The other driver was apparently not pleased with this. At a speed of 120 kilometers per hour, he drove his car into the back of the other car at least three times.
The Amsterdam woman managed to keep her car under control, but was bumped into another lane. The car with Belgian plates followed them until she managed to get away by fleeing into a petrol station near Meerkerk.
The three occupants of the car that was hit, pressed charges of attempted manslaughter. The police call on witnesses of the incident to come forward.
