Tantra masseuse arrested on sex abuse allegations

The Rotterdam police arrested a tantra masseuse on suspicion of sexual abuse. The man was arrested after a fourth woman filed a declaration with the police saying that the man abused her. Three others also reported being raped or abused by the man, NOS reports.

The masseuse is in custody for questioning, the Public Prosecutor in Rotterdam confirmed to the broadcaster.

A hotline opened last month where women can report if they were abused by a tantra masseur. So far the hotline received 63 reports about dozens of masseurs. According to the broadcaster, the men promise in advance to respect their clients' boundaries, but instead ignore them and abuse the women.
