Foo Fighters first headliner announced for Pinkpop 2018

The Foo Fighters will perform at Pinkpop next year. The American rock band is the first big name to be announced for Pinkpop 2018, RTL Nieuws reports

The band was set to perform at Pinkpop 2015, but had to cancel the performance after frontman Dave Grohl broke his leg when falling off a stage two days before the Pinkpop performance. Grohl immediately said that Foo Fighters would come back to the Netherlands to make up for the canceled performance.

For the sixth time in its existence, Pinkpop will not take place during the Pentecost weekend next year. The 49th edition of the festival will be held from Friday June 15th to Sunday June 17th on the Megaland festival grounds in Landgraaf.

Ticket sales start on February 24th, 2018.
