Tilburg teen gang denies months long sexual assault of young woman

One of seven teenagers arrested for sexually abusing a 24-year-old woman in Tilburg for months, denies that it was abuse. According to the 17-year-old boy's lawyer, it was group sex with mutual consent, intended to live a sexual fantasy.

The woman in question invited the group of boys to her home and she proposed group sex, lawyer Henk van Asselt said to Brabants Dagblad. "Nothing was done against her will", the lawyer said. "According to my client, the woman in question has certain sexual fantasies. Only after being caught by people around her, did she go to the police." The 17-year-old suspect claims that he first went to bed with the woman, and his friends joined later. That happened with the permission of the woman, he says.

The 24-year-old woman went to the police in February. She told the police that she was sexually abused by a group of boys for months, and that she had to move before the abuse stopped. The police launched an investigation, which ended in the arrest of seven teenage boys, between the ages of 15 and 18 years.
