
Dutch police chase ends in crash in Germany
A car carrying three suspected burglars crashed in Germany after a high-speed police chase. Bot the Dutch and German police chased the suspects down the A12, RTL Nieuws reports.
The suspects started their flight when the police wanted to pull them over for a traffic check in Arnhem on Wednesday night. The Dutch police gave chase, joined by the German police once the suspects crossed the border.
At the Rees exit, a few kilometers after the border at Zevenaar, the car went off the road and crashed. All three suspected burglars were unhurt.
The German police arrested the suspects, three men aged 18, 22 and 26. In the car, police officers found a firearm and items believed to be stolen in a burglary. The owner of te car is known to the Dutch police due to previous thefts, according to the broadcaster.
