Hoorn teenager arrested on bestiality charges

A 17-year-old boy was caught in the act of sexually abusing a horse in Hoorn on Friday night. He was arrested, the Telegraaf reports.

The boy was caught with the help of a group of concerned horse owners in Hoorn, after several horses were abused in the town over the past two years. In one stable, camera footage caught a man in a hoodie sexually assaulting horses and even a guinea pig in four separate incidents over the past year, according to the newspaper. Horse owners in Wognum and Worner also found their horses abused.

Three concerned horse owners decided to act and installed numerous cameras in a common stable. On Friday night an alarm went off at the stable, and they called the police. The police caught the 17-year-old boy red handed.

"The abuse hit us deeply. We hope that the right man was arrested. That he's only 17 hit us like a bomb", Ron Esteje from Hoorn said to the newspaper.

The police are investigating a connection between the incidents.
