Passerby finds body on village bike path

A passerby found the body of a person on a bike path in the Gelderland village of Braamt around 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning The police assume the victim was hit by a car. The car and driver of that car, are nowhere to be found, AD reports.

Pieces of the car were found on the road. The Hooglandseweg is closed to traffic while the police investigate.

The police are looking for the driver involved in this hit-and-run.
