Suspect arrested in Enschede salsa dancer's murder

The police arrested a 48-year-old man from Enschede on suspicion of involvement in the death of Sarah Kolenberg. The 40-year-old salsa dancer was found murdered in her Enschede home on Sunday, AD reports.

The suspect's house was searched an the police seized a number of items for investigation. The arrest was made on Tuesday night, but the police only announced it late on Wednesday.

On Tuesday the police called for information about the victim and about what happened to her on a broadcast of Opsporing Verzocht. About five tips came in during the broadcast, and the police received more information afterwards. All tips are being investigated. The police are still collecting information and call on witnesses to come forward.

Kolenberg's body was released to her family. So far the police did not say anything about how the woman died.
