Still no lawyer contact for Dutch terror suspects in Tunisia

Two Dutch men suspected of involvement in terrorist activities in Suriname, still haven't been allowed to see their lawyers. The Court of Justice in Suriname rejected the lawyers' request that their clients' restrictions be lifted on Wednesday, lawyer Raoul Lobo said to ANP.

The two men were arrested on Sunday, July 23rd. They've had no contact with anyone outside the prison since then. Lobo finds this worrying. "The Prosecutor can already prepare for the case, but we can't. We're therefore falling behind, so we want to talk to the suspects."

Lobo hopes that the court will lift the restriction next week. If that does not happen the lawyers will object again.
