African names for lion cubs born at safari park Beekse Bergen

Three lion cubs born at safari park Beekse Bergen in Hilvarenbeek last month, were examined and dewormed on Monday. Caretakers also determined that all thee cubs are female, so the park was finally able to name them. The cubs were given African names - Rhaya, Nala and Sarabi, Beekse Bergen announced on Facebook.

The cubs were born on June 12th. They will likely spend another few weeks in their enclosure with their mother, Mariska.

Cubs and mother are all doing well, according to the park.
